In the Dashboard or Rules screens, select the icon on the bottom bar of the screen for "Usage." If there is any usage to display for a given day, then in the Usage screen under the sub-header "TOTAL DAILY USAGE" tap the section on the right side of the chart that displays the "$" sign. This will take you to the "UTILITY" screen. Here you can enter your zip code and select from the available electricity providers for your area.

If you have previously selected an electricity provider and wish to change it, simply tap on the red-lettered words "CHANGE PROVIDER" then enter your five-digit zip code and press "SEARCH" in the green bar. Select your electricity provider (the corresponding circle will show a white check mark in a green circle) and press the back arrow in the top left corner of the screen.

If there is no usage to display for a given day, you will see “No Usage Found--There’s no energy usage to display for this day” on the screen. Swipe left or right to find a day for which there is usage data and follow the steps above to change your utility provider.

Please note that the rates for each provider are average daily rates for your zip code. They do not take into account any incentives, tiered pricing or other specific rates based on time of day. Currant uses the average rate for your local utility to provide an estimate of the cost of your electricity consumption and is not intended to be precise. The actual cost to you of running your appliance or device depends on many factors including, but not limited to, volume pricing based on your household-level electricity consumption, special incentives from your provider and time-of-date or seasonal variable rates.
